Jil Sander Fluoro Side-Split Maxi Dream Skirt

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

Lately I've been dreaming of the popping bright hues from Jil Sander Spring 2011 collection because I'm sick of my dark dark wardrobe and this dark dark weather. So when I saw the above skirt on Net-a-Porter, I was tempted to click "add to shopping bag" and be done with the doom and gloom.

Alas, I'm not blessed with long model limbs and can't justify the splurge right now. Guess a girl can keep dreaming...

Will you be rocking brighter hues come Spring?

Cant get enough long skirts... I've just added some long bright colored leather fringe earrings to my etsy shop, feel free to check it out as an easy, inexpensive way to add some color to your wardrobe!

That skirt would definitely chase the grey weather away.

Spring is the time for bright color! I'm so in love with the Jil Sander skirt. J.Crew had some great neon colored items :)

I sure will. Ive already embraced this trend with a bright yellow skirt. Can't wait for warmer and sunnier days! I loved it how Jil Sander used bright colors in this collection.Ada

Did bright colours for the past two years and kinda bored of it now. I think I'm mellowing or something, because I've fully embraced black. Something about colour just feels wrong for me for now.

The colours looked amazing on the runway but as I'm not blessed with long enough legs to wear a maxi, I'll stick to a shorter skirt in block colours for sure!
