I felt like a proud mama when I stumbled across a profile of the San Francisco design duo behind womenswear label
RosenMunns in
Nylon Magazine recently. About a year ago,
I had the pleasure of interviewing designers
Sydney Rose and
Ashley Munns for Dream Sequins, and their current Spring 2010 collection, entitled "
Year of the RosenMunns" is a delightful romp into the cropped, wearable separates and sheer layers which I swooned over for Fall, this time in a palette of peachy nude, powder blue and vibrant red. In addition to
Anica Boutique and
Light Vision Store, the label is now carried at two of my favorite boutiques in New York,
No. 6 and
EVA. Congratulations, Sydney and Ashley! This is definitely your year to shine...

gorgeous, i love the idea of sheer bike-shorts under a short dress...
I like this collection. It's very simple and creative! We must really give props to people who get creative with clothing because it is super hard. So props to the designer! I don't really like the see through shirt, but I do love the first look. Are those see through leggings in the first ensemble?! Thank you so much for your comments and I am sorry I did not get back to you soon enough!

; ) I know how you feel (well, can imagine). When I make someone my own - an actor, writer, and recently, designer... you really do feel a kind of pride when they do well! And you interviewed them, so it's even more personal!
LOVE that top shot, it caught my eye, and I love the look of their clothes, and the sense of whimsy & fun. will keep an eye out.
