Risto F/W 2010

Still catching up on my New York Fashion Week coverage. Just two more days until the jam-packed schedule comes to a close, and I'm already feeling super exhausted! Not only am I attending a full slate of shows on behalf of Dream Sequins, but I'm also writing them up for Tokion and Dossier Journal.

Check out some of these knits from the Risto F/W '10 collection. Designer Risto Bimbiloski is known for his prints, but he also used to be a knitwear designer for Louis Vuitton and the ethereal pieces for this collection were absolutely head-turners. Even the poised socialites in the front row flipped when the white and grey pieces fluttered down the runway... The color of the gauzy knits and the texture remind me of clouds...

Wow.... Reminds me a little bit of previous year collections of Rodarte... <3 <3 <3 I didn't know he is working for/with Louis Vuitton, too....
Perfect weather for that cozy knitted yummy stuff! :-D Please send me some of them over, could you?

These all look so soft and light I just want to reach out and touch them! They don't look like the warmest things you'll ever wear though haha
