Tulle Mania! by dreamsequinsblog
After fumbling around Polyvore, I finally completed my first set... just in time for Wishlist Wednesday. Today, I'm craving tulle pieces with a bit of toughness for contrast; think ballerina chic meets combat boots. Even though the weather is considerably cooler in New York, I find myself gravitating towards sheer pieces while doing my usual round of online shopping. Imagine layering tulle or mesh with thin jersey pieces, knit leggings and/or fluffy sweaters and chunky boots.
From left to right:
(1) Christopher Kane dress via mytheresa;
(2) Kris van Assche two tone tank via Oak;
(3) Velvet Angels booties via Oak;
(4) Rue du Mail applique detail dress via net-a-porter;
(5) Lanvin chain and tulle necklace via Kirna Zabete; and
(6) Quail silhouette top via Acrimony
Would you wear tulle, mesh or sheer pieces this Fall?
What's on your wishlist today?

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.
I've been thinking about you so much lately with all this tulle flying around!
I've been dying to hear what you think of the Viktor & Rolf show! I'm just about to post on it again with the side and back views, it has seriously intrigued me!
The rue du Mail dress is such a great LBD! Paired with those booties - fierce indeed!
That's a gorgeous set!
I'm not a winter girl at all, but it's given me some inspiration.
*sighs* I'm currently having a 'what to wear in the cold' panic, I need some trousers!!
Those booties are divine.

Tulle reminds me of ballet. So light and feminine. Love the dress on the far left, I think I could still wear that to the office.
Love the booties and the tulle! something about the sheer look that I adore so much..=)

love all of these-I've been looking at those boots on Oak for ages-and in Intermix-love. xx
Fab first polyvore! I love tulle but I don't wear much of it. I'd love to find a great tulle piece.
My wishlist is a pair of new flat suede black boots! I had to toss mine last year because I worth them to their sad demise.
Tulle all the way for me! That first dress is adorable.
I'm wishing for my perfect pair of casual, timeless flat kneehigh boots...

I need a fabulous grey tulle skirt - but not a mini...so hard to find.
I need the dress and the booties. When can I pick them up? haha!
YES! WE need to set up a lunch date! ASAP!
Oh, I'm all for the cheap alternatives. Thank you! Something fabulous at an affordable price makes it all the more appealing :) I will definitely check them out. I tried F21 but they're too short...hopefully UO will have them a bit longer. Thanks again :)

I am all about the tulle!
I would love to wear tulle, mesh or sheer if only this place observes a proper fall season. We seem to jump straight to winter, hehe.
Have you tried looklet.com? It's like polyvore but you can see the outfits on a model! ;)
Oak is a dangerous zone click-click for me...I want them all...le sigh*
Great evening darling! xo*
Hiihii. :) Probably see through things! I keep finding myself heading towards lace if anything.
And I signed up for Polyvore but I'm lagging on making sets hehe. I like yours though!

Oh if I had the mula for real CK. Man, I love his sheer pieces. Oh and I'll take those Velvet Angels heels, too please!
oh, yeah, the only way I could wear tulle, I love it!
great post title and post in general, v. inspiring. I love the girly tulle + biker edge combination. lots of great picks, it's hard to choose a favourite, but I def like that silhouette top. and glad to know I'm not the only one who fumbles around on polyvore lol, that thing can kill a lot of time when you're bored!
haven't tried polyvore - but i do like those booties! don't think i'll do any mesh (reminds me of scary boys in high school) but maybe a bit of tulle...
I ADORE that sequin dress. It's beautiful. I think that I would definitely wear mesh...not sure about the tulle on me but I love it. I love the shoe too...they are so urban and with the mesh, more feminine...I love that contrast.
fantastic list -- especially the two dresses
