Hello Dream Sequins readers! My name is Taylor from Sterling Style a blog about fashion, style, and inspiration. When D asked me to guest blog for her website I jumped at the opportunity. Dream Sequins is a daily read for me. I love her take on new designers and she has positively fabulous style.

My personal style is very eclectic with a bias towards girlie bohemian glamor. I love anything that sparkles and takes an otherwise plain outfit and really gives it some edge. I also love to mix and match thrifted items with more expensive pieces. I have no problem wearing $5 dollar necklace with a $300 handbag. I really think it gives your outfit character.

In this look I am wearing one of my favorite vests from Urban Outfitters. This vest caught my eye and I snagged one of the last ones. I wear it all the time. It is so versatile. It goes with jeans, shorts and dresses. These days I try to only purchase items that can be worn with multiple clothes in my closet. That way I feel like I am investing in my wardrobe and not buying too many frivolous trends. I love the way it hangs and really shows off whatever you wear with it. Here I am wearing it with a Forever 21 dress and Urban Outfitter boots. However, you could easily change this outfit into a more evening look by adding some cute heels and exchanging my handbag with a clutch.
