In lieu of Weekend Links, here are a few more options for September 10th. Things are getting crazier by the day! Fashion's Night Out is going to be an overwhelming experience, even if you keep it downtown that night...
In addition to some of the great events on the calendar discussed in this post, Rogan will be hosting a block party, with pieces from emerging labels: Matohu, Risto, Ajna, daraGOY and Salvor.
Down the block at the Bellhaus Pop-Up Shop on Bond Street, the "Vogue Alumni House" hosted by Derek Blasberg and Brad Goreski will be selling covetable items from Hester, Duskin, Doucette Duvall, Thread Social, Prova, Gryphon and Wren.
Kirna Zabete will be celebrating 10 years with limited edition releases from designers such as Thakoon, Proenza Schouler, Peter Som, Elise Overland and Jason Wu. I just received a few tempting pictures in my inbox. Oh my!

Seven New York will be hosting a mindblowing trunk show of Nicholas Kirkwood shoes (a Dream Sequins favorite), with ten new styles and orders available in special sizes (which is a dream for you shoe lovers with hard to find sizes).
Creatures of the Wind (whom we interviewed here) will be previewing their Spring collection with a special presentation at Maryam Nassir Zadeh.

Note: We'll be covering events that evening uptown, downtown and all around town. Readers, please watch this space! I found an amazing associate editor, who will be introduced shortly... We'll be bringing you coverage during Fashion Week, including something new: street style snaps outside the tents! Let the countdown to Fashion Week begin. I must confess that I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment... I need a stylist! What the heck am I going to wear???
P.S. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend! What will you be doing?

I keep getting invited to all kinds of fab events for the NYC night out which is so upsetting as I'm in London - where I haven't been invited to any events! haha
You rock D! Cannot wait to see the outdoor fashion visuals - especially with this years edgy vibe!
Love your ideas ;-)

That Jason Wu sketch is so delicate and beautiful. Love love love it. Can't wait to read your coverage on Fashion Week. So exciting!
I know! It's going to be sheer pandemonium! I've no idea how to split my time between events! Maury and I want to check out Barney's and also Opening Ceremony and Rogan, and did u hear about Chanel on spring street? Alexa Chung will be spinning there! So much to do, so lil' time..We'll be at the tents too the whole week. Maybe we'll bump into you!

Definitely going to Seven! Other than that, probably Oak and Opening Ceremony. I don't want to commit to going to too much as I'm sure the whole thing will be too overwhelming and I'll end up just wanting to escape for a cocktail...
