CRHEE Spring 2010 Lookbook

Wednesday, September 30, 2009

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of New York-based womenswear label CRHEE (you can read the full profile on Dream Sequins here). I had a chance to peek at the Spring 2010 collection from a visit to the studio of designer Christine Rhee and couldn't wait to share these images with you. On my wishlist from the new collection? Elegant reversible silk tanks which hang from the body in the most flattering way, dresses with draped low backs and suggestive slices at the waist, a cozy jumpsuit meant to be worn rolled up at the ankles to showcase the fetish shoes du jour and black and white digital prints on matte silk tops. I'm also craving a pair of the collection's natural-waist silk shorts, which add just the right touch of playfulness to a cocktail ensemble. While there are many pieces in the label's signature monochromatic colors, deep hues of purple and maroon add additional shots of drama.

Could someone please send me a time machine so I could jump to Spring '10 and start wearing these pieces right now? K thanks bye...

Be sure to check out http://www.crhee.com for the label's revamped website, including pictures of the current collection and purchasing information.

Wow, they're lovely, will keep an eye on them. I esp. love the 3rd one down: I once made a top from an old pale striped pillowcase based on the same, rectangle concept, with ribbon straps.. where is that??

Love them all, apart from maybe the burgundy trouser set. There's something about the slightly boot cut leg that doesn't grab me.

About to check out your postcard challenge!!

xoxo

LOVE the first two looks, but esp. the cut of the second jacket. although I'm such a dedicated fall girl, I'm happy to stay put in time!

I love the last few images from the look book. I'm excited for this revamping because it makes the clothes look even better! I'm really into how some designers sold pieces right after their runway shows during NYFW for S|S 2010, I hope more people start doing that next season.

Thanks for your comment! :)

Why have I not been on your blog yet?!? LOVE the last dress here - the color is amazing!

You're lucky you're in New York - I so miss living there (moved here to Montreal for school) but I plan to return once I graduate.

Until then I'll have to settle for weekend trips like next weekend.

Nice work. I'll be back to read more.
