So yeah-- check out this article I wrote for Dossier Journal's style blog about New York emerging designer Douglas Reker.
Reker is a talented textile designer by day, womenswear designer by night whose sophomore collection was just picked up by Barneys. The price points are moderate, and I have my eye on the pink lace-print dress (which, upon closer inspection reveals miniatures worked into the faux-lace). What do you think?

Great pieces! I love ruching, so I'm really liking the first outfit. Love the dresses as well... it looks almost like a tie-dye bleach job, but in a more timeless elegant way.
