I hate to do one of these "gee aren't they pretty" posts, which are mostly about posting pictures of pretty dresses...
But in the case of 2008 Fashion Fringe winner, Eun Jeong, who just showed her first collection at London Fashion Week to rave reviews, this will have to suffice for now. I missed her show in London as New York Fashion Week overlapped by a day, but it looks like things are looking up for the Korean-born, Saint Martin's educated talent.
For Fall 2009, the designer darkened her color palette, exploring black and metallics and also created some wonderful jackets that I would love to examine in closer detail.
I found some pieces of her winning collection for the Fashion Fringe competition on Net-A-Porter. As a side note-- it's nice to see the online retailer supporting emerging talent, including Eun Jeong and Christopher Kane.
What do you think of these pieces? Too spare for your taste? Prices range from about $2100 to a little under $3000... Guess I'll be checking periodically for sales... I would definitely give up my black widow's wardrobe for one of these pieces!
